Volunteers

Volunteers are the heart of our organization! Making sure our volunteer staff is well supported and encouraged creates an experience which leave lasting impressions!
You can get involved as a:
- Workshop Assistant
- Facilitator
- Gallery Volunteer
- Administrative Volunteer
- Intern
Our training program is hands on and enlightening. Volunteers will explore their abilities and expectations and learn how to identify the needs of the participants and assist appropriately.
Our Workshop Assistant training program consists of 10 hours of hands on learning at our exciting studio and workshop artWORKS!
We welcome those interested in being session facilitators. To support your efforts, a 30 hour training course is required which helps you identify the needs of all participants in the workshop environment. This is an exciting course in leadership, development and creativity.
In order to volunteer in our workshops, candidates must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Attend our training and continuing education courses
- Submit a resume and three written references.
Administrative and Gallery Volunteers are also welcomed. We welcome administrative candidates with a personal interview resume and references. Administrative volunteers will be offered an introductory course on the program.
Special Event volunteers are welcomed with an introductory course.
Academic internships are available. Undergraduate candidate applications are taken for each semester and will be considered with personal interview and resume.
Please contact our office if you are interested in volunteering.
