The Magic Paintbrush Project Welcomes B-Mets Players for Third Annual Event
Johnson City, New York June 26, 2008 - Seven lucky players from the Binghamton Mets joined general manager Scotty Brown at The Magic Paintbrush Project in the Oakdale Mall where they teamed up with 111 participants and volunteers for a one of a kind workshop! Paint and Tissue paper were the order of the day as everyone had fun cheering each other on. This third annual event was a great success with abundant laughter, wide grins and a great game of "Paintball". Brown was a great asset to his team of players as they helped each of the special needs participants get in the fun. The participants in turn were eager to show The Players the meaning of "Life Is... WASHABLE!"
Artwork created during this year's workshop will be on display at this year's JulyFest in Downtown Binghamton July 11th and 12th! A special team autographed Jersey will be available at NYSEG Stadium with the The Magic Paintbrush Project's Bowl's with B-Met's Silent Auction.
The event is supported by: United Health Systems, Lourdes Hospital, W&W Landscaping, Binghamton Breakfast Rotary, Raymond Corporation, BAE Systems, and the Oakdale Mall.
