The workshop experience can be very rewarding, both emotionally and physically for participants, caregivers, and staff. Workshop Volunteers will learn how to effectively listen and provide appropriate support for participants. This creates the unique environment that makes The Magic Paintbrush Project workshops effective.
The Magic Paintbrush Project workshops are specifically designed to assist caregivers by creating a bridge between their rehabilitative regimens and their daily life. The Project will teach Workshop Volunteers specifically how to assist these caregivers without directly determining the outcomes. The goal is to have the caregiver directly working with the participant with some guidance from the Workshop Volunteer or Facilitator.
In order to volunteer in our workshops, candidates must be 18 years or older.
